Can you believe only one week before the hottest new women's party in DC... again!! Fierce Thursdays, Thursday March 16th 2006, 10pm until 3 am. I'd like to thank the management and staff again at Mirrors for allowing us share their wonderful space....THANKS! During this event we are giving away a season ticket to our very own Washington Mystics. Toni Scott from Alaze will be giving away those smooth drinks, which one is your favorite? Don't forget we have the spoken word and kareoke hosted by the lovely VYBE, that's from 10.30 until 11.30, and afterwards we get our dance on with DC"S own DJ Damon. What about the singles hookup?? Has anyone found misses right?? Please share, we want to know how that is going. I hope to be able to post pictures from last months event early next week.

Thursday January 19, 2006 will be the beginning of the hottest women's party in the Metro area

"FIERCE"

Ladies Ladies Ladies Mirrors Nightclub has asked us to put together an alternative night for women. This club is sophisticated sheik and funky. We no longer have to go in alleys or be in cramped small spaces, Mirrors is spacious and beautiful. This night will be a time for partying (No Dancers).

There is a time and place for everything, I myself wanted a place to go have conversation and be able to just hang out and get my party on with friends.

With WITL gone Im stepping up to the plate, everyone complains about no place to go and then when we get a nice place no one supports. Ladies I have given you my all for the past 20 years and I'm asking for your help to make this night a success, not for me but for you and your sistas. We need your support to make this work, we need to bring everyone out.

For the first 3 months we are going to do the party every third Thursday, starting in April we'll go every Thursday. The doors will open at 9pm with drink specials until 11pm and open mic.... whatever your talent is lets showcase it. Then at 11pm the party gets started with DJ Kelly. $10 before 11pm and $15 after, the attire is Urban sheik no timbs and athletic wear. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to email fiercethursdays@hotmail.com remember ladies this is your night, we want to hear what you want or call 301 423-1791. Were looking for PR staff if anyone is interested. There will be a blog every two weeks to keep you informed about "FIERCE". A commercial is being established so you can see what the club looks like, but in the meantime enjoy the pictures featured in this blog.
